Rotary Fellowship Exchange – Oregon to Barnard Castle

 

'Rotary Fellowship Exchange' (RFE) doesn't come friendlier when you find that your birth date is EXACTLY the same as one of you visitors.

 During the recent RFE visit from Oregon, Barney Inner Wheeler Margaret Miles and Rotarian Patty Frahler of Beaverton Sunrise Rotary Club, Oregon, somehow found out that they were born on exactly the same day.

 

What were the ladies talking about we wonder, to discover this amazing fact?

 Whatever it was, the whoopin' and a'hollerin that ensued was something to behold, and this was the theme for the week whilst six Oregon Rotarians and partners spent time with Rotary hosts Claire Rackham, Christine and Ian Hodgson, and  Ann and Tony Barmby, enjoying their, and other Barnard Castle Rotary Club members hospitality and friendship.
